Pittwater

After leaving Sydney we sailed up to Pittwater and stayed a few nights there. Whilst there we stayed at Hallet's beach. We were sat there one day and this duck flew straight onto the boat deck - scared me to death - and waited until I fed him. Brilliant!

It's just hard to believe that the whole Pittwater and Cowan Creek is water system is probably within 20 miles of central Sydney and you can still cruise around for days and barely see a building.

Weather was pretty average whilst we were there, but the upside was that this waterfall appeared. The day before and it wasn't much more than a trickle which Gill showered under, and the following day it was back to a trickle, but on this day it was in it's full glory.
